It sounds like you have an older style trailer axle with the short spindles. You will need a new Spindle # TRU44FR to mount on your axle as the short hubs are now obsolete. This will allow you to use the what is now standard length spindle dimensions.

I am going to recommend changing out your spindles for one of the current size spindles as your spindle is obsolete and no one is producing parts for it currently. This will be extremely helpful in the event of a breakdown as these parts are readily available. We have a few options based on your current axle capacity. I have included a 3,500lb and 5,200lb selection below and included both idler hubs and drum brake hubs.

We do offer replacement spindles for trailer axles that can be seen using the link provided. You will want to match the axle capacity (look for a sticker or plate on the axle itself) and its shape and dimensions, including length and diameter.
Trailer spindles must be installed by a qualified professional welder. Spindles must be welded on perfectly concentric or you will have tracking problems. A trailer shop will have the right jigs to allow the spindle to be welded on correctly.

Your trailer VIN will not tell us which spindles you need but you can select the right one based on your axle's weight rating and measurements of the current spindle. You'll need a digital caliper like to measure precisely.

I checked the Floe Trailer website for any available specs on their trailer's spindles but their site does not provide this information. They do list axle parts for their 2004-and-later models but not the spindle specs.

I have another option for you but there is not a screw on spindle available for the # 8327872 you were looking at.
To replace one of the spindles on the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with 4" Drop E-Z Lube Spindles - 94" Long - 7,000 lbs # 8327872 you would need to have the #42 E-Z Lube 4" Drop Spindle w/ Flange for 5.2K to 7K Trailer Axles - 3" Diameter # TRU39FR welded on by an axle shop as it will need to be perfectly square to the axle and the other spindle.

You should have a spindle washer between the outer bearing and the spindle nut. There are different washers depending on exactly what spindle you have.

You will have to replace the spindle. Grooves that can't be taken out with emory cloth will eventually cause new bearings to fail which will leave you stranded with a locked up wheel most likely.
To replace a spindle, the old one would need to be cut off, and the new one welded into place. This is NOT a job for the do-it-yourselfer. If the spindle is damaged, it'll need to be replaced. The # CE13511 CE Smith hub is compatible with a 3500 lb axle that uses an L68149 inner/L44649 outer wheel bearing and a 10-19 grease seal.

For a 5K axle we offer # TRU57FR which uses a grease seal with an inner diameter (ID) of 2.24-inches, an inner bearing ID of 1.74-inches and an outer bearing ID of 1.25-inches.

As far as removing your current spindle, you will need to grind/drill off the old one. One the old spindle is removed, I recommend the BT8 Spindle for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles # TRU59FR (for a 1-3/8 diameter) or the # TRU94FR (for 1-1/4 diameter). The measurement of the diameter is the stub (innermost tube on the spindle). In order to get the correct size, I recommend measuring the stub of your old spindle once it is removed. The Replacement Spindle Washer - Tang Type for E-Z Lube # 5-101 is the correct fit for your trailer spindle based on the picture and measurement if you want to use a castle nut like # 165686.
The alternative option is the Spindle Nut Kit for EZ Lube Axles # RG05-100 which uses a different style retainer for the nut.
